They are 2 1/2 inches in diameter & burn when i eat spicy food & the hot peppers pass through on the way out. I have tried Tucks as well as Preperation-H but to no avail doesnt help. They swell up on humid days.

2.5 inches! Is there any wonder why those topical meds do not work? If you have let them get to this point, then you are well beyond 'tucks' treatment. They will never go away without surgical intervention. In the mean time, you should avoid doing things that produce hemorrhoids in the first place, such as straining with BM's or sitting on the W.C. too long reading mags. Take a stool softener such as colace or peri-colace, available over-the-counter, drink more water, reduce constipating foods (cheese, etc.), and you should really see a doctor at this point.

Damn, it sounds like you are in a lot of pain. With those bad boys that big you must look like a baboon. You should get them looked at by a doctor and stop eating spicy foods until then.

Good luck and sit down easy.

You might need to go the doctor and have an itty-bitty operation.
