why not let the babies have some magical wonder? it's such a precious thing to see a child's face as they look up at Santa. let them be young and have this little time in their lives where everything is good and fun. they grow up far too quickly. the longer you can keep them in awe of all the stories where everyone lives happily ever after it's worth it. they will find out the truth soon enough. don't bust their little Santa bubble.....it's not a lie ....it's a sweet story. next time you ask yourself this question , you look into those babies bright excited sparkles in their eyes. then tell them there is no Santa. that would be so cruel. and just because parents tell their children about Santa does NOT MAKE MOST ADULTS LIARS !

Santa Claus isn't a lie. He exists each Christmas within the spirit and hearts of hundreds of thousands of folks around the globe after they deliver to one another. There is not anything fallacious with the youth fable of Santa. It makes Xmas amusing for them and excites them. It might be a tragic international if children might no longer simply be children and revel in a bit make suppose. By the time they're ancient sufficient to understand the reality, it will not do any harm them or spoil their lives. I believed in Santa as a child and so did my brothers and sisters. Xmas might no longer had been the equal if we didn't, and all of us grew up common functioning adults that weren't traumatized by way of the reality.

Yes it is wrong? Why would you want to ruin someone else' s beliefs. In today's world children have no choice but to grow up fast considering their upbringing. Let children be children as long as they can. If they believe in the Tooth Fairy, The Easter Bunny, Santa Claus or even the Boogyman let them. Gradually in time they will find out the truth.

I simply told mine that Santa was a cartoon character just like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. She accepted that without question.
Sadly there was a real St. Nicholas but he has been grossly mis-represented and is simply a sales tool now.

It is not wrong. The who santa claus thing is a perversion history. St. Nicholas was a Christian man who was full of compassion and love, not some make believe.

don't tell them that adults are liars thats the worst way and if they are little kids like between the ages of 1-8 let them be kids and believe in him why rob them of the joy of santa? and if they are older just explain that santa doesn't exist that mommy and daddy are the ones who give them the gifts...

No, because children need something to believe in and its fun to them and something to look forward to and they only have their innocence and if you tell them the truth about Santa then you are also taking away their innocence, they are children they need that.
