Good question. Many fundamentalist christians are poorly educated and do not understand science. I say this because I have noticed their spelling is very bad!
Hahaha - look at the fool's answer above me saying apes will have all evolved into humans if evolution was true. This is typical of my comment about poor education. You might as well say all fish should evolve into sharks, or all birds should be emus. Very poorly educated. Sad really.

Facts? Who was there 10 billion years ago to prove the theory of evolution is a fact? Who ever called it the "fact" of evolution? They call it a theory because it is just that a theory - with a ton of holes in it and unexplained phenomena that are better explained by a different worldview. If the world is 10 billion years old - then you're saying that the bible isn't true and what it says can't be trusted. So in essence you would be saying that God is not real - he's just a made up story a religion to help people feel better or something. You really should check out the other side of the story before you get locked in with making blanket statements like this that you yourself cannot prove. I've looked at both sides and I really think you should take a closer look at this site. People who don't believe in evolution are not mindless idiots - quite the contrary - most were at one time sold on evolution lock stock and barrel. Many are top scientists trained in the best universities.

If we use SW's theory to determine Christianity, Suziee, you are a Bible thumper! How about that! Once again, science has proved it's infallibility. Oops!
Actually, a scientist did NOT prove that man evolved from apes. This is a theory, which even modern scientists will, unwillingly, admit has not been proved. As for a real fact; is that opposed to a false fact?
Or could it be remotely possible to theorize that there might be educated Christians out here, who DO look beyond the end of their noses, and might see more of the "big picture" than the people who have fed you the garbage you are championing?
God help you on your way to the truth.

Your statement is only partially true. Evolution within a species is a fact. However, there has been no proof of animals evolving from one species to another, i.e. the "missing link" between ape and man.
However, think logically for a moment. By the very nature of evolution it is continuous and ongoing. Therefore, had we actually evolved from ape there would be apes continuously evolving into humans. This is not happening. So, it is only logical that it did not happen in the first place.
I am a Christian. And I am open-minded about scientific theories. But I am also interested in new discoveries of science. Until God Himself comes and tells me that evolution did or did not happen, I will not close my mind to other possibilities. This includes the possibilities of both evolution and creation theories. But at this time, there is no proof that we actually did evolve from apes. Only that the primitive man had similar physical atributes to primates.

Well, there is no way we can discount evolution! Some creatures have evolved! Just not humans! I believe Science is a gift of God! At the same time however, there are somethings about science that we will never understand. God designed it that way intentionally. Creation does not discount evolution of the earth and animals. We where created by God at the start and we haven't changed sense! We did not come from apes or monkeys. We came from the dust of the earth!

I'm agnostic about evolution haha!!! I think that as long as it fits in with creation, no problem. 7 days actually 7 or figurative? Don't know.
But I think even scientifically speaking it is just a theory (like the big bang) and not a law. Nothing to lose our soul over.

Let's see, according to a leading British mathematician, the chances of the Universe and life coming about through complete random chance are 1 in a billion billion billion billion billion billion. Proven, right? Now, there is no reason in denying evolution, it clearly exists. But saying that evolution and random chance have are responsible for the entire universe? Sorry, I think it is only rational to see that is false.

There is 5 different meanings too the word "Evolution." MicroEvolution, which is observed, is a fact of Science. Macro, organtic, steller, chemical, and cosmic Evolution is not a fact.

Any scientific theory always has the possibility of being false. No theory can be proven true, no matter how much evidence there is for it(from Stephen Hawking). People do not believe evolution because they believe the evidence for it is not valid or credible.

Well for one, where are the transitional fossils. (half fish, half frog)
You truly believe a gnat and a whale and a human being all came from the same single celled organism through mutations and random selection?
And some people who Believe in God, do welcome some idea of evolution.

Are you asking a question or promoting a faith?
Some people just have a hard time with the idea that they can trace their lineage back to pond scum. They look in a pool of water, seeing the green muck on the bottom. It is hard for them to accept the idea of being related to it. That's all.
Best wishes.
