Any type of olive oil is good for hair and skin. For your hair, just work the oil all of the way through from scalp to ends. Heat a towel in the microwave for 1 minute, and wrap it around your hair. Keep it on for 30 minutes or longer is you have very damaged hair, then rinse and shampoo out of your hair. For a facial at home I mix a spoonful of olive oil and a spoonful of sugar. I use this on my face as a microdermabrasion. Scrub your face for a minute or two then rinse with warm water. Next take a little of the olive oil and rub it into your face. Heat a towel up and put it over your face while you rest for 10 minutes. You will feel like a new person! Olive oil is good for your cuticles, too. Best of luck to you!!

Yes, there is a type of Olive oil available in a lot of asian countries for use in hair or on skin.
It's a lot denser and has a very different smell to the cooking type. Not sure what it exactly is, but if you are in some Asian country, you should be able to trace it out.

There is a soap that middle eastern people use its called ghar and its made from olive oil. Olive oil is really good for your skin and hair, but i wouldnt put it on your face if you have oily skin and prone to wrinkles.

I've under no circumstances attempted to place olive oil in my hair but it surely works mighty on dermis. I had highly dry dermis in a few locations (flaky and pink dry) and a couple of days of making use of olive oil in most cases entirely restored it, so olive oil is most likely my cross to moisturizer.

It works great on very dry skin skin - a lot of women that I work with use it - and they have great skin...even on thier legs.
I started using rice bran oil (get it at a grocery store and use it after a shower while you are still wet) a week or so ago because I envied thier legs (I was complaining about flakey skin from shaving at the time) and I tried it because the woman at the store recommended it.
Works great - but you have to walk around about 10 minutes naked for it to soak in - you might want to save it for special nights out..er, um, in.

Yes, as long as you keep in mind that's it IS oil and it may be a bit of work to get out of your hair. But it is beneficial.

yes, you can. however, don't put the olive oil on your face as it will make you break out. but, if you use it on your hands, feet, legs, etc and your hair, it will do some AMAZING deep conditioning/mosturizing.
