Yes, those are seizures, and as she is becoming intolerant of the pups, she is likely in pain as well. she really needs to see the vet, and be sure to tell him of the change in behavior.

Jael is right. Your dog may have a brain tumor that's causing these seizures. Or she may have developed epilepsy. There are medications to control the seizures, and they have to be very carefully regulated according to your dog's age and weight, so they HAVE to be overseen by a vet. As Jael suggested, ask your vet if you can make monthly payments if that will be easier on your budget. Many vets will do that rather than see the dog continue having seizures. By the way.. if you can get a video of the dog having a seizure and take that video with you when you go to the vet, he'll have a better chance of diagnosing exactly what's wrong.

Sounds like a seizure. She may have epilepsy, you need to get her in to a vet. They can prescribe something which will slow the seizures. You should have your video camera handy the next time she goes into them so you can show your vet. Check out this site for more information.

While there you may wish to visit their memorial page. You'll need a big box of tissue if you do.

It sure sounds like it. Do her eyes roll into the back of her head can u see the whites of her eyes? Is she like shakey afterwords like she can't lay on her stomack by herself just lie competely on one side? If YES to any of these take her to the vet or aminal Hospital!! What I just described plus what u describe sure sounds like a siezure!! My Dog acted that way the day I had to put her down because she had cancer @16 & the cancer was spreading to her brain. She would have died w/ in 48 hrs anyway but much more painfully!! PLEASE get her to the vet ASAP!!

That happened to my husbands dog while I was out of town, he rushed it to the vet the 3rd or 4th time and ended up he waited too long (worried about the cost) and had to put his dog to sleep due to brain damage caused from lack of oxygen.
GET THE DOG TO THE VET!
or give it to someone who would care enough to take action.

i had a dog that would take seizures and the symptoms that you describe are very similar we would do the same things to bring him out of one .we found out that he was diabetic and ended up having to give insulin shots every day.
