That all depends on the level of damage done. Dermabrasion is good for very low level scarring........however.....if you have "craters like the moon" (please pardon the expression) then plastic surgery is the only option. I (unfortunately) have "craters" and was told that plastic surgery was the only option.......didn't go ahead.......didn't fancy the fact that I would have to stay out of the sun for the rest of my life.....and get "touch ups" every 10 years or so........I've lived with it for 25 years and never heard a derogatory remark about my complexion.......After all....we're the ones that have to live with it...no-one else........HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

A dermatologist will have to perform the procedure.
It's called DERMABRASION. They literally sand your skin down until it's smoothe.

I've seen the results from this and it's amazing.
Start making some calls to dermatologists. The healing time isn't very long either.

Go for it! And GOOD LUCK!

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
