I would recommend using gentle cleansers and scrubs on your face, also keep it hydrated. I personally recommend St. Ives apricot scrub, Neutrogena is good too. If you can, make an appointment with a dermatologist, a friend of mine had a similar problem and her complexion is now clear after being in treatment. Also drink plenty of water, this helps with the overall appearance of your skin. As for makeup, avoid anything that clogs your pores. I recently switched to Bare Minerals and I must say that I love thse products. They feel light and look natural, they don't clog your pores but they provide amazing coverage. A starter kit from Sephora costs $60, this gives you everything you need to start. I would encourage you to give it a try, it is worth the money! I hope this helps you, beauty comes from within so don't let any skin problems get you down!

For your scars, I suggest Laser Resurfacing
For your acne, try once a day 2.5 percent benzoyl peroxide and Mario Badescu's drying cream (.5 oz for 10 dollars) at night to your acne prone areas
Be young forever tips:
1. get laser resurfacing every 10 years (promotes collegen production)
2. wear spf 30 or more daily (especially in the eye area)
3. never smoke
4. eat healthy and excersise 30 minutes daily
5. wash your face 2 a day
6. apply retin-a everynight
7. wear self-tanners (make u look younger)

well, that sounds like my skin...just make for sure you take off your makeup every night and wash face thouroughly.....that is all you can do....the key is .....keep your face clean....i am 38 yrs old and still battle with those pesky little bumps and the only thing that helps is keeping my face clean and dry. and as far as scars....if they arent severe you can buy a kit called face lift (Walmart $20) It works pretty good on the little scars

Drink plenty of water (8 - 10 glasses a day), eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, avoid fatty foods and carbonated drinks, wash your face with a solution recommended by your dermatologist, have enough sleep (usually 8 hours a night), exercise and avoid stress.
Good Luck!

I'm sure you've probably already heard this but Proactiv really works. I've just started using again (you have to keep using it) and it's working great to get rid of my acne scars.

Clean your skin daily with olive oil or, better yet, coconut oil. This will NOT make your skin greasy, as you might think. It will actually dry and soften the oily parts, and soften the dry parts too.
