in old Chinese books you read from the top right to the bottom right from right to left

Chinese can be written from right to left, left to right, or top to bottom. I may be wrong, but I think Japanese is the same.

i don't know any.
japanese comics are read from back to front though i think...
it would make sense for left-handed people to write backwards so that they don't get a smudge on their hand.

almost all languages except for European languages are read from right to left.

yes . persian. they read and write from right to left. i know it cuz i am partly persian.
