ppl look at others with braces differently. will my friends still appreciate me. will the girls look at me differently or is it for the best for me to get them.

The most important thing I can tell you about your new braces.... is to keep your teeth really clean. This means brushing (more than once a day) and flossing. It's a little time consuming, but extremely important. If you don't follow your orthodontists instructions, your gums will get puffy and gross and will bleed very easily. Then people will look at you funny, not to mention they won't want to get very close because of the bad breath. Braces will not only give you a great smile when you're finished with treatment, but they will make your teeth and jaw work like it should. Teeth should fit like gears. This will also help with keeping your teeth clean afterward.

If they're your real friends then they shouldn't even blink about it. Also, if you're confident about it and just play it off, I don't think anyone will really care. You care more than they do, believe me. WAY way way more. Ever heard of those clear braces? Not the ones you pop in and out, the ones that are like regular braces but almost don't show. Look it up online. It's a bit more expensive, but not THAT much of a difference and it's less noticeable. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine :o)

You will be soooo happy to have gotten braces. It sucks sometimes to have them, but the time will go by fast and when you get them taken off - it is THE best feeling in the world! I had pretty bad teeth and wore braces for about three and a half years, now 14 years after having them off - I have a great smile! You will too!

Oh people do not look at people with braces differently. Of course your friends will, they will always love you. Besides, if you get them on now you won't have to get them when your older, how sad would that be to have braces when your 30? And think about how beautiful your smile will be after you get the off.

It is probably the best thing to continue and get the braces. I think guys with braces are hot! I've had them before, they aren't that bad, don't worry!

The faster you get braces the better your smile and confidence will be. Nobody likes to see messed up teeth. You will notice that you smile more often once you get your braces off.

y should u be nervous about it? there's nothing to nervous....u will not feel the pain while doing it. only after that u feel uncomfortable for few days and u can eat that well...in a way if u have weight problem, u can reduce some. not only get ur tooth done as well as have nice body... ;-)

the end outcome is worth it! so many people have braces now people probably won't even notice you have them!? i did figure they notice less if you get just silver with no colors! hope i helped!

braces are cool ! they make your smile more appealing! your friends will not treat you diff. maybe tease you like how i got teased but i didn't really care.. it was funny about what they were saying.. but they get used to it quick.. kind of like if you cut your hair.. they'd just get over it.. and girls? i dno? depends on what they like.. but if you want a nice smile.. i say yes.. get em!
