Well he is not a serious stalker who is going to murder me but... The thing is, I have NEVER met him. NEVER had a conversation with him. NEVER had any interaction with him at all. And then suddenly not only does he know my 1st name, but my last name too. . .AND I found out that he tried to transfer into one of my classes. Everyone tells me how he talks about me, says I'm beautiful, wants to ask me out, wants to ask me to these dances, wants to talk to me.

I kind of just want to ignore it. After all, we've never met or spoken, etc. I am NOT interested AT ALL. Should I just wait it out? I was thinking about having a friend pass the message on for me casually. I DEFINETELY do not want to talk to him. Or meet him. Because if I do, I won't be able to avoid him anymore without being rude. Being strangers is safe in anonymity.

What should I do? The act of non-action? Take action?

Difficult situation. Good luck with it. You sound like a level headed lady.

You're questions are all valid. Sounds like he's got a serious case of infactuation / crush. Possibly it would help if you had a real boyfriend - that way he would know you are offlimits ? Yet you don't want to jump in to a relationship solely to put another guy off. Jeez.. difficult one - cause equally he may be a nice young guy with a harmless crush and you wouldn't want to cruelly rip his heart/confidence out.

However if your not interested - somehow you've got to make that clear - preferably in a non cruel way - unless he oversteps the mark. Good luck with it.

You never know when a stalker will turn "serious" so make sure you're documenting anything he does, like calling you, sending you gifts, etc. Keep a notebook and use it, and if he does something tangible, file a police report so it's on record. Don't make the mistake of thinking he's harmless and not doing anything - someone who's obsessed can go over the edge at any time.

Send the message through the same friends that told you about him that you're not interested and stick to it.

When you go anywhere make sure someone knows where you're going just in case he turns really weird and creepy - don't say no, it can happen. Don't go from class to the car by yourself. Most schools either have a group that escorts people to their cars or security guards who will do it. Take care even in the day time, don't think bad things only happen at night.

You don't have to meet or give him any encouragement, he may be obsessed anyway and think that you're sending him signals even if you're not.

You also might want to take a self-defense course so you have some strategies in place if, God forbid, anything should happen. But most of all, don't let him stop you from living your life. Just be careful about it.

Good luck!

I think this is weird. Transfering to your class is spooky.Especially since you have never spoken to this person. I would probably transfer right out of the school or talk to a counsler or get some help from some adults.

What in the world makes you think you need to be polite about this? Or that he is not a stalker? He is lavishing unwantd attention on you. Don't be gentle. Tell him you are not interested. If it doesn't stop get 4 huge guys to tell him for you.

I promise you, honey - these types can turn into real pains. Do it now.

man you tripping I love for a guy to chase me that just let's me know how much he likes me. I think you should write a note, because if you get someone else to tell him or give him the note you could hurt him.
