I thought ST. Francis Was the patron saint for animals. The plastic little figurine has a dog, a bird and a rabbit on his feet> Does anyone know of this "Saint". What his name is or any info on him...GOD BLESS

You may have a statue of St. Benedict the African, who was also a Franciscan.

Yes, St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. As far as I know, Francis was Italian, but it could be that he was swarthy and "dark" skinned. Maybe the statue you have is of him and is just cheaply made.

i dont think it is
it might be just a black guy with an afro with animals.
