There are all varieties of reasons that i believe there is something related to the reality in the back of the completed lot of the bible. whilst somebody lies to me, in certainty that what i've got heard is a lie. the reality lies in the back of each thing. (Pun meant). once I got here of age i found out that there is allegory, delusion, parable, allusion, and that what's religious can't be understood with the rational techniques or the ego/techniques. it would be completely ridiculous to speak related to the workings of molecular biology to a kindergartner and interior the area of spirituality we at the instant are not lots extra effective than that. What can we are hoping to appreciate till we've matured slightly. The brightest individual on earth knows in straightforward terms a thimbleful in comparison with what there is to know. Why might desire to we call something we don't comprehend ridiculous if all of us know we don't comprehend it? All we can truly say is that we don't know the way it must be genuine or what it truly skill. as quickly as we comprehend that the completed seen and measurable universe makes up in straightforward terms 3% of that's mass, and what of it may't be seen or measured makes up ninety seven%, If we knew each thing there is to know related to the three% there might nevertheless be a brilliant mass of lack of expertise left interior us. i'm no longer able to declare it relatively is ridiculous. i will in straightforward terms say i don't know what it skill.

Don't you think that hundreds of conflicting, contradictory religions all claiming to be teaching the truth is a bit ridiculous? I don't need to elaborate, the question speaks for itself ...

I like the way you - ever so slightly - elaborated on the main question.
But no, not really. It's the tribal mind. If the holy man/woman gets up and says "Oh well, you can believe whatever you want to, I don't really give a ****" then people would be confused. Or something.

Religion is man made. I worship God and His Son Jesus. I dont need religion to do that. I just have a relationship with my creators. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the Life, No man can come to the Father except by me.

There can be only one if we look at the core of what most say. They state that their religion is THE only one way to happiness, heaven (or some sort of bliss), and that others are not pointing to the right way. We can think that everyone can have their own religion and we'll all be ok-but the fact is that each says that the other us wrong. Logically only one can be right out of all of them-and the rest all have to be wrong.

The Question should be believing in the ONE true God.
When a person has accepted the Truth all else will not do.
Following Jesus has nothing to do with religion it is about having a real relationship with God!!

Nope; I don't agree with you. Why should it be so hard to believe? After all, the apostles spread the word of God & since they were present when hearing it they would have spread the same information. The church founded by St. Peter was the Catholic church which has remained faithful to the original teachings re faith and morals.

In all reality there can only be one creator - one God -one higher power. But, that doesn't mean that there is just one name for that being. or just one path to connect to that being.
One Creator many paths
God created us all differently....you really expect him to all line up and just have one way to connect to him?
I am not sure how the question speaks for itself????

I think so. But the more they discover their true identity the more religions will become insignificant to their life. Not now, but it's emerging.

I believe that the great God ,Father of Jesus Christ is the only true belief.
Count me ridiculous ,if it will make you feel better.
But I know my savior lives.I know the high price he paid for my salvation.
I will never deny him.<><
