what are scientologist jobs?

if scientology does not believe in medicene does that mean that if your a doctore you can't be a scientologist. i wanted to know what are some scientologist do for a living.

Most anything anyone does, I suppose. Being a Scientologist doesn't forcibly prevent someone from being a doctor... doctors can practice medicine without ever prescribing psychotropic drugs. What I'm sure most would avoid is a career in pharmaceuticals and psychiatry.

Interestingly, many Scientologists base their distaste for psychiatry and psychiatric drugs on the misrepresentations and shocking but overblown horror stories provided to them by their prophet, L. Ron Hubbard. What's interesting is that Hubbard, though being a very outspoken critic of psychiatric drugs, was discovered upon his death to have the anti-anxiety drug hydroxyzine (Vistaril) present in his body, which several of his assistants would later attest was only one of many psychiatric & pain medications he had ingested over the years. Come to think of it, a great career for Scientologists to have is one in acting. Actors are paid very handsomely and can therefore afford to pay the exorbitantly high prices that the "church" will charge one for "advancement".

Yo Dude. Perhaps you are mistaken. Scientologists do believe it medicine to treat physical conditions.

Scientology do not believe in the products produced by psychiatry, such as anti-depressants. Psychiatry takes a view that all people are bodies and that upsets, problems, etc. can be solved but taking a pill. However, these pills then cause violence, dumbness or other physical side-effects. The problem with psychiatry then is that it doesn't work. It is not based on true workable axioms.

I know doctors that are Scientologists. I don't know any Scientologists that are psychiatrists though.

There is nothing in Scientology that says what job you can have or not. You can be a waitress, a business man, a delivery man, a doctor, a fireman, an actor, a hairdresser, a pilot -- it doesn't matter.

This is false information about Scientology not "believing" in medical treatment when necessary.
I personally have 2 Scientologist friends who are medical Dr's and also am aquainted with several more.
I am a Scientologist (for the past 34 years) and have and use medical DR when needed.
I don't know where this false idea comes from. Could be a confusion with certain Christian religions like Christian Science who I think have this particular restriction.
As for jobs. Scientologist work in the entire spectrum of employment, though they usually avoid areas that provide Gambling or excessive alcohol consumption.
There are many Scientologists who have become successful professionals in their fields. Particularly the creative arts.

THIS IS SCIENTOLOGY

1. What is true for you is what you yourself observe to be true.

Psychiatry have never proven that any "mental illnesses" (like they call it) has any connection with a physical illness. Happiness, exhilaration, depression and psychosis are states of mind, not diseases. All what you have to do to stop being depress is change your state of mind. How you do that? By changing your ideas and considerations. Scientology provides the tools to achieve a better state of mind in accordance with your own point of view.
Also Psychiatrist excuse the most horrendous crimes as mental illnesses. This is actually creates a sense of irresponsibility in society because it tells people that they are not responsible for their actions.
