Should I Switch Schools?

Right now I'm going to this highschool thats freeking boring and we do the same **** every day. Some of the people there are gay too. And the girls arent that good lookin. I have friends there that I have known from middle school and elementary school. I wanna switch schools bu I if I switch theres no going back. I know 1 person that goes to this new school. It would be hard to make new friends. But should I go or not? How can I decide?

The true question is, are you willing to leave your friends for a new school just so you can meet good looking girls and get away from gay guys??? You also say the school is boring?? how? like, theres not enough partying around (are you willing to leave your school because of that?)or are you talking about academic aspects?

Weigh the pros and cons. You are already established in that school and by my experience, nothing beats being with your true friends. You will be much fulfilled when you graduate seeing your friends graduate too. Anyway, you're going to college in a year or two, right? Why not wait until then? I'm sure there are a lot of good looking girls out there. And believe me, there will lots of parties in the future...Why hurry? its not like you're gonna die of boredom.

Well, that's just me. I used to think that way in my old school too.

here is what you should ask yourself: is a new start all worth it? if yes then go ahead. move to a better school and start from scratch and where nobody knows you nor what you have done so it is a fresh start. if this school does not offer what you want or is not challenging enough then maybe get into some AP, GT or Honors classes. if the other school has a better reputation and is better overall then go with the best school that provides the best education not only the best of friends since they come and go but education wise! i think that you are the one calling the shots yet i think that you do not sound happy at this school so maybe switch friends or get new ones who are more like you vs the people that you have known since 4ever and if you do not want to do that then write the pros and cons of both schools on paper and look at which one would make you happier yet also smarter! plus you go to HS to study and yes to check out girls so if the girls from your school are not that pretty then maybe date someone from a different school! my overall idea: i would move if i were you yet you would meet new and beter people and be happier! hope that helped some!

Transferring to a new High School just because "Some of the people there are gay too. And the girls arent that good lookin...." is totally lame.
You are in school to learn. You aren't supposed to get bored there because you could learn a lot while in it.
Weigh things before you make a decision. No one else can make it for you.

You sound very immature still. Schools not about deciding peoples orientation or whether or not Susie is spanking hot in her new mini. Its about learning, which you still got much to do. And if you cant decide for yourself, what does that say about you?

PS-Wait till you get into the real world and get a 9-5 job in which youll do the same routine everyday. Schools gonna sound like a thrill ride compared to that. Have fun while the fun lasts, wont get any better than that.

I don't think you should be switching school only because you don't find any attractive girls or because there are gay guys at your school. You have your friends for one. As long as you are learning something in this school that's all you are supposed to be doing in school the people shouldn't really matter.
