Want to know if it is possible to talk to nevada with a cb radio with a powerful amplifier. Can mountains or valleys scramble signals of any sort of communication,even a celluar?

depending on where you are from you can talk to nevada if yu have a dirrectional radio antenna if they still make moon raker 6 is very good what you can do is bounce your signal off the ionosphere and back down line of sight is usually limited to several miles get acb with double sideband aor go amateur and talk to the world have fun Gorbalizer

YOU guessed it. In fact depending on where you are located and you didn't say because liner amplifiers on CB radios are illegal you might find it easier to talk to china than Nevada, depending on the sun spot activity.

that is an odd question and your image is unusual too! this is a very good photograph - is which you? Sorry, I incredibly have in no way used a CB. i don't even like the telephone much less getting on a contraption in my vehicle to speak to somebody i would not communicate to on the telephone.

frequency interference will beat any amplifier. check the signal strength in the area.
