Every person in our great nation can look at their ancestors and see immigrants. Even the Indians immigrated to what is now called America.
They are not taking jobs away, they are doing jobs that you think are below you. They pay taxes but cannot file a tax return to get any over paid taxes back until their status is legal. They cannot cheat on their taxes (earned income credit) and pawn their children to the highest bidder at tax time, like I have seen many LEGAL americans do.They live many to a house so that their money goes farther. It is like a close knit family. I have yet too see an american family as tight. If one of their people jeopardizes that family units safety it is handled quickly within the unit. If that person cannot conform he/she is sent back home. By the way my answer is yes. They should be allowed here.I have studied these people and paid attention to what they are doing. Searching for a better life for their families. I cannot object to someone wanting an education, food, clothing, more sanitary conditions for their family.

Are you trying to make a statement or are you truly wanting an answer.

Legal immigrants have every right to be here just like anybody else. The problem with illegal immigrants is the crimes they commit, they do nothing to contribute to society except take jobs without paying any kind of taxes. They also use up government funds intended for legal citizens. Do you know that taxes helps pay for the schools our children go to? Illegals do nothing to help with this but they expect to be able to go to these schools.

I commend some of the illegals that are coming here just to work and send money for their families -- but it causes problems for others here that are legal. Not all illegals are coming over here to just to work hard -- they also commit crimes and traffic drugs.

This country was made up from people all over the world -- but they also went to through legal channels to become legal contributing citizens to this country.

The full picture of all illegals is not being completely painted here by no means. People need to research the information and get their facts straight before they start getting on some bandstand and fighting for a cause when they don't know all the facts. They are just repeating what some blowhard on the TV is saying.

The legal immigrants deserve it because
1.) They paid for it
2.) They qualified for it
3.) They love the USA
4.) They are willing to serve the USA as citizens

The illegals on the other hand
1.) Cheat the system
2.) Disregard the sovereign will of the USA
3.) Dont love the USA
4.) Still have their loyalty to their old country
5.) Dont bother to assimilate into mainstream US society.

Since when does committing high treason ever make a country great?

I agree with you man, and to all those people that keep saying that illegals are criminals why don't you think twice, I am sick and tired of the ignorance among you people, you don't actually know what you say, for example do you know that there is not a passage or a written statement in the US constitution that says coming to this country without "papers" is illegal, it only defines citizenship, but NEVER does it say that if you don't fit into the citizenship part that you are a criminal.
I am a legal citizen and my family has been here for generations, but I came from a Spanish family, and grew up in a , mostly hispanic neighborhood, and when you interact with them you find out that they are not bad people at all, and that most of them live like Americans so you can't even tell who is leagal and who is not.
Second none of those anti-illegal laws that states and local governmets pass ever take action because the SUPREME COURT knows it violates the rights of the people, hopefully now that we have a democratic congress with more educated people and less ignorants this problem will be solved.
Now to those people that say that illegals have no rights here because they are illegal, let me tell you that when Thomas Jefferson wrote the declaration of independence, and then again when the people in the constitutional convention wrote the constitution they said that EVERYBODY not just legal American citizens have certain rights that no one can take away based on nationality, race, religion, etc.. if you guys want to be so law abiding then you should start to read the documents that made this country in the first place, and then run your mouths, when you talk about immigrants like they are scum you should think about them like people like Jefferson and Washington did: like humans and not members of a certain place.

LEGAL immigrants have a right to be here. Do United States citizens have the right to be in a foreign country without the proper ID and documentation??

Legal immigrants, yes. Illegal, no. You need to make a distinction. If someone comes into my house invited, then that's great. If they BREAK in, I'll defend my family and property.

You want to open this country to criminals , which is what illegals are for breaking our laws . If they want to be here then come legally or don't come at all .
If your not an American Citizen then you have no right's in the US .
