He's not a dog if he's honest about it from day 1. Except that women usually get emotionally involved if they are intimate with a man and men usually don't. So, if you sleep with them and then break it off because they get too attached to you, they wonder what they did wrong and they get hurt. Thus, you're a dog.

Every time a man say he doesn't want a relationship at the moment it usually means that he is just looking for sex and doesn't want a steady relationship and every time u see him he always smiling in some girls face. but i honestly don't know you and i am not trying to call u a dog but anyway that my opinion. But Honestly i have experienced this type of thing in the past. If a person cant appreciate the fact that you are not ready for all the drama and other crap that goes on in a relationship then save yourself. I think its a good idea to wait until u are ready but i don't think u are a dog for wanting to wait. I think its a very smart decision.

A man is not a dog just b/c he doesn't want to be in a relationship. A man becomes a dog when he doesn't want to be in a relationship, knows the girl wants a relationship and uses that to have or continue having sex with her or to keep her waiting for him while he goes and do whatever/whoever.

Because women are to blinded by their own ways to admit that we know what's best for us. The whole dog thing only makes them feel better. Any woman who says a man is a dog because he doesn't want her is very foolish. We have very much sense and I certainly don't carry myself like a dog does. Quite frankly I think dogs are better at covering up their **** than we men could ever be. Get it? So calling a man who cheats a dog is a bit of an overstatement ladies.

Everybody have different perspectives. Not all woman think man are dogs just because they dont want to be in a relationship at the moment. Some people just dont understand, everybody want something different. People should respect that.

I agree with sherockstn! Women are usually better able to deal with a guy that doesn't want a relationship when they know the details up front. If she thinks there is hope of a relationship not knowing your intentions, and then she catches feelings, she will be hurt and claim that you are a dog. However if she is informed of your non-intentions of a relationship, she may be more willing to deal with the "benefits" relationship. You also have a better chance of her not catching feelings or liking her enough to change your mind and make her your girl... Go figure!

Who says you have to be a dog? People will treat you the way you ALLOW them to treat you. Are you avoiding relationships because you've been hurt? Or, are you putting them on hold to pursue other interests? It's YOUR life--don't let others try to control you or label you! Do what YOU enjoy, and the people who appreciate you for the great person you are will be attracted to you!
