It is said that all three religions can trace roots to Abraham and they all acknowledge Moses. Most of all, they all believe in one God. Despite these commonalities, history has proven brutal to the present day. Do you see a day when we all get along or is this impossible?

They have. I saw it happen.

We (religious Jews) were rioting for 3 days in Jerusalem trying to stop the gay parade. The Christian and Muslim Arabs who live in the neighborhood beside where the riots were would bring us water, fruit, and other supplies. Maronite nuns in full habit helped take care of some of the wounded rioters.

At one point, the Israeli Army blasted from loud speakers that Hamas had said it was against the gay parade and would send suicide bombers to stop it. The Army thought we would think, "Oh shoot, if Hamas is on our side maybe we're wrong."

Instead they heard 15,000 Jews chear Hamas. A first.

Thank you gays. Thank you Hamas.

BTW, if you think about it, it was religion that brought us together, as we all had the same commandment we were defending.

I hope so, but muslims and Jews are not ever going to get along and christians are hated because they mostly backed the Jews and they are accused of changing the account of the Gospel(which is called the Injil by the muslims) God blessed both nations, the muslims(Ismael) and the Jews(Issac)... So muslims have the oil and Jews have the money. so according to Genesis.... the answer is no However, we should always hope that there will be peace. Hope this helps

Well, religion is a bigger institution.
So, at let's view this at a smaller scale.

I think that what it all come down to is the personality of the subject in question. For example, if you're the type of person who takes offense because someone else likes milk chocolate while you like dark chocolate, and if single human had such a personality, man-kind would be doomed.

In my opinion, we are free beings and hold many different views. With that, comes possibility of thousands of faiths.

So as long as we are able to think differently, be different and act different, we might dislike those that don't fit in. It is human nature.

Unless there was a way for all of us to be exactly the same...

Yeah, sure. When the conflict in Israel ends, terrorists find a name other than 'Muslim', and Christians accept that they can't always change peoples beliefs.

Someday, maybe.

As long as we are human, no. It is silly since we all believe in the same God.

Christians don't usually have problems with the Jews, as they don't ever really say much. It is the Muslims that have the problems with us.
