when being approached by a guy around your same age- that you've never met before. What would be your first opinion if he just came up to you and said You're a brat? or any other tease- but in a joking matter. Me and my friend are debating this... I think its a good way to get a conversation started lol and he thinks its horrible. Opinions

well I would have to say it's not the best way to start a conversation but.... you would have to know her sense of humor. is she going to laugh it off or be insulted.. watch whom ever it is for a bit to get a feel for her personalty then aproach her... I think if you can pull it off and accepts the joke she would probably be a fun loving, easy going, down to earth type of chick... I think the best way to find out is to test it... I would use something other than brat though. and remember " It's not what you say but how you say it"

Well, first, lets face some facts. We all know when a guy is teasing when he says something mean just to flirt a little. So I am with you, g/f! I think its a fun way to get the conversation started. I am interested in what you said back to him. I think I would have said "Oh, if you only knew......" HA! Good luck!

Calling anyone a brat is going to tick 'em off even if you were joking.

For a man to approach me with that type of remark would crush my centerpiece. I wouldn't take it likely and I wouldn't think he was worth my time. You did say Ladies, and Ladies don't respond to childish chit-chat..

I'd be annoyed and think they were an immature idiot for not saying why they really came over, unless it was 2 bug e, in which case they shudda left me alone.

Yeah well that would be lame if they said that.Cuz what if you take everything serious, you see, you have to be careful with the person you tease

Do NOT do it!!! I cannot empasize this enough!!! Although you know it would be a joke, there's a chance she does not, and she may react in a very bad way!
