David Pilbeam, a Harvard University paleoanthropologist, says:
"If you brought in a smart scientist from another discipline and showed him the meagre evidence we've got he'd surely say, "forget it; there isn't enough to go on."
And William Fix, the author of an important book on the subject of paleoanthropology, makes this comment:
'As we have seen, there are numerous scientists and popularizers today who have the temerity to tell us that there is 'no doubt' how man originated. If only they had the evidence.'

Because it ISN'T nonsense. There are thousands of scientists studying evolution and USING evolutionary theory to combat disease.
I'm sorry your school obviously didn't teach it. You might want to go take a college course and see what it's about - or read a book. Dawkins and Gould have a few good ones that explain it pretty well.

Because 99.8% of NAS scientists say otherwise. Further, these quotes are years out of date, given by scientists who were right -- at the time, there WASN'T enough evidence.
We now have the evidence. The evidence is in, and evolution is correct.

Both your quotes refer specifically to the precise ancestral sequence within the human family tree. Both these scientists are well aquainted with biological evolution, and fully accept it as a natural process. Throwing out these silly out-of-context quotes doesn't "prove" anything to anyone, except your own ignorance of basic science. And trying to support your ignorance by misrepresentating what other people have said smacks of dishonesty. Yes, I know, you never actually read the quotes in context, you just read the misrepresentations in some fundamentalist anti-science tract, and mindlessly repeated them.

You can always find a minority opinion to support an anti-scientific view. You have nothing but Mohamed's say so that the Quran was dictated by the angel Gabriel. One man's say so is the thinnest possible evidence for anything, so I think your issue is that science is at odds with your superstition, not that evidence in fact has any part in your decision-making.

I have no idea. While in a biology class two years ago I really looked into evolution to see why its so important and the main person "Charles Darwin" that they base their facts upon didn't even mean for his studies to be interpreted like this. Of course because there's no proof. If it was so true wouldn't we be seeing some stuff evolve by now? People are so caught up on running from religious views on things that they believe any wacky theory that comes along. And on another note there is evidence that contradicts the evolution theory scientists are finding new stuff out daily. There's also facts in many religious artifacts, and tablets. You just have to look!

Creationism is about lies. The 1977 quote refered to the hominid line based a few years after Lucy was discovered, not evoultion in general. William Fix is an offshoot Creationist, who called his dicipline "psychogenesis". Keep posting the lies. I'll keep shooting them down.

Because they could not use the other materials to teach the students. Materials like the earth is flat, the earth is at the center of the universe, the earth was created in six days.

Are you kidding? You are arguing with evolution?! What about adaptation... are we not seeing children born without tail bones... people who live in a hotter climate having darker skin... mountainous terrain being shorter... so you expect us to believe that all of us (the colors, shapes and sizes) came from two people without evolution or atleast it's little brother adaptation. RUBBISH!!
