Call them and explain your situation and they may work with you. If the person you talk to isn't agreeable ask to speak to a superivsor. :o)

I think you will have a hard time doing this. Maybe you can get them to remove some of the late fees. It might be easier to get them to lower the interest rate (in the future), but the fact that you didn't pay might hurt you in trying to do this. If you have another credit card, you can tell them the other card has a lower rate and threaten to transfer the balance to the other card if they won't do this. Look at www.debtsmart.com.

Call the 800 number and ask to speak to a rep. Explain to them that you want to pay your bill but you won't be able to with the interest. Ask them what they can do for you. CC companies have a lot of flexibility to cut your bill and they will work with you rather than not get paid at all or lose you as a customer.

Either call them and do a deal (no guarantees that they will), or consult with a debt consolidation company that specializes in getting them to drop interest.
Either way, I'd start making at least the minimum payment immediately. Your credit is already impaired for a few years at best, and screwed for a long time at worst, and the time to start repairing it is at hand.

It will prolly be at the discretion of the telephone rep to allow or disallow the interest reversal...this will really depend on their mood and your reasoning for being so late...did you have a legitamit reason for not paying? Have you ever requested a reversal before? Try being nice to the rep on the phone and give it a shot...they may allow it if you are convincing and have a good reason for being late...

They won't...best thing you can do is try to get a short term loan and pay off that card....then cut it up.
