My aunt has had hep. c for a long time. She has recently gone on disability. The disability has gone from 1400 a month to 400 a month. The gov. is now taking that away until march. She has no money saved up. She has tired welfare and they say that they can't help her until she is off disability. She currently lives in Washington and wants to come home to Illinois. How will this change her medical? How can this process of getting help be made easier? If anyone has a web site that could help or has been through this situation please HELP! She doesn't have that much longer to live and it shouldn't have to be this difficult.

Hi D

Your aunt needs to do a colon and liver cleanse to clear out the toxins in the body. Go to this sight to see how to heal her condition. More information.

please, no cleansing or colonics and certainly no herbs unless it is only milk thistle.

i'm confused as to why she cannot get welfare, everyone i know including myself get medicaid and my kids get it too. i am on ssdi due to my hcv, even tho i no longer have hcv. (cured with antiviral chemotherapy). some sides have not gone away and no matter how hard i try, i cannot keep a job. (short term memory issues as well as a few other symptoms from havng chronic hcv for most of my life).

anyway. i am sorry to hear your aunt doesn't have much time left.
did she try treatment (antiviral chemotherapy?) there are always trials going on in which the medications are free, have her ask her doctor.

i would also call and talk to someone at the health and human services department. i do not know anyone that received disability and was not automatically approved for food stamps.
if your not certain how much time she has left, you might look into treatment if her liver damage is not beyond a stage and grade 3.2. I even know some that had stage and grade 3.4 and did antiviral chemo successfully.

best of luck and prayers your way.

OK first something isn't sounding right. Who is she getting her disability from? If it from social security it sounds like she was being overpaid and now they are taking the money back. Where is she living? Is she in an extended care facility? Hospital? Home?
Each state has different laws on eligibility. Contact family services (welfare) in your state and ask them your questions or contact a licensed social worker and ask them or contact a home health agency and ask them . All three should be able to provide answers or point you in the right direction. They might need your aunt to call them in orde to give specifics.

First of All, Dandelion and Green Tea Won't Cure Her. Alternative Cures Like this Often Misdirect People From Real Cures. Magic won't Cure her. Sounds Like her Problems Are Economic, In Which Case, I can't Help you. Knowledge of the Disease Might, This is a Flavivirus, See: http://www.virology.net/Big_Virology/BVHomePage.html , Same Family (but Much Less Attention) as West Nile Virus. Is she Getting Treatment? What is her Disability?
