If you have your mind set on changing your dog's fur color consider natural hair changing products such as rtrue Henna coloring.

Also, if you have the money consider getting an animal artist. They use all natural vegetable dye products and can do soem awesome things!

It's not my idea of humane treatment, or a good use of money; but i consider these options better than the alternatives.

Please don't use regular hair dye on poochie!

NO - do NOT use human hair dye on your dog.

Talk to a professional grooming shop about getting dog-safe dyes.

Although why the hell you would want to dye a Maltese is beyond me. If you didn't want a white dog, why did you get a Maltese in the first place???

You should leave the dogs hair like it is...but it you really want to dye it dont use human hair dye. It would be a lot better for the dog if you just left it as it was though.

Using human hair dye is not a good idea. I believe there is dye especially for dogs. Try contacting some groomers in your area. They may be able to dye your dog's hair or recommend a product to use and where to get it.

Do not use human hair dye on animals. Go to your groomer and either have them do it or ask them where they can recommend you get some.

I've seen celebrities dye their pets pink and such, Kelly Osbourne did it buy Peta got a bit mad, but mainly just ethicswise. I don't think it would hurt, I'd ask a dog groomer if I were you, just like you ask your own stylist about hair dying.

It will burn your dogs skin horribly. It would also make his/her hair fall out. I don't know where you can get hair dye for dogs but you can use food coloring.

What possible reason could you have for dyeing your dog? I don't know if it's harmful, but I know it's illegal in some states. Check your local state statutes.
