It's pretty basic. If you're looking for a value in HDTV, I would recommend Westinghouse LCD HDTVs. Their 37" model is full 1080p and it's only $1k.

I would not trust Polaroid for an HDTV. Their portable DVD players and standalone DVD players are cheap and don't work. I wouldn't want to invest in a TV, if they can't make a DVD player right.

Zenith, LG, Panasonic, Hitachi, Sony are all good brands.

no way, spend an extra couple of hundred bucks and get a name brand.... ie sony, toshiba, hitachi,
