Sometimes I hear 1 of my 2 cats meowing really loud like he is mad! and by the time I go to them they r both just standing there staring at each other slowly waving their tales like getting ready to attack. Are they just playing or is 1 being mean or too rough to the other? (1 is a meaner cat) 2nd. how long is the recovery period for them when I get them fixed soon?

slowly waving usually indicates a dominate battle. it is normal for cats to do this. I'm assuming they are both males? if they are it only takes about 2-3 days and they will be back to normal. if they are females, about a week. you mat want to keep them apart until about 1 week so they don't mess each others stitches up! getting them fixed will also help calm down their behavior. hope i was of some help! :)

I think they are just playing. My cat does the same thing sometimes. It only took a couple of days and my cat was back to normal after being fixed.

Sounds like they are battling for control. One of them will emerge as the alpha cat. It is normal, I assume since you are getting ready to have them fixed that they are young. If they are litter mates, give them time, think of it as sibling rivalry. If they are both male or both female, they will probably always have problems with dominance.

After I had my cats fixed, they were back to their normal horrible selves in a couple of days. You will still need to check their surgical stitches for a couple of weeks to look for swelling, redness, or leakage just to prevent infection.

Good luck, Hopefully they will learn to love each other.

Hey there... Recovery time is usually two weeks. Have you ever seen your cats fight though? I'm sure it's jst horseplay. Especially in kittens. They are always getting into trouble and harrassing eachother at a young age. It is completely normal.
