Ok so I have an extreme amount of feelings for one of my best friends named Kyle. Kyle's best friend Mark is my ex boyfriend of 6 years. Kyle has sent me some signals that he feels the same way but cannot hurt his best friend Mark. Here are the signals.
We went out to our friends house and he went outside to look at the stars with his other friend and I went out with him and the other guy and said,"Come here, I want a hug." he hugged me for awhile and wouldnt let go and said ," If we see a shooting star then we are kissing." We look in the sky and there it was, a shooting star, and then Mark walked out so nothing could happen.
I went down to his college a couple weekends ago and I suggested that I sleep in his bed with him and he hesitated. He said he couldnt do that to his friend. I said, "Kyle nothing will happen." he said, " what if it did? I couldnt do that to Mark."
These types of things have been going on for a year now. Do those things say that he has feelings or what?

Honestly it sounds like he does care a great deal about you and would really like to be with you. He is torn because of his relationship with his friend and feels and though he would be betraying him and his trust.
Kyle seems to care a great deal about what Mark thinks and unfortunately for you in this situation it does not seem like he can get over this issue with his friend.
My advice would be one of two extremes. Either go and speak with Mark and tell him how you feel and see what he thinks about you and Kyle dating. (The unfortunate part is that it could and probably would drastically alter your and Kyle's social life) Or you could just try to push these feelings away and in doing so Kyle.
It seems to be a loose loose situation and I have been there and know how much it sucks. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
If you can see yourself with Kyle and truly happy no matter the effect on others then go for it, life is to short. If not, better leave it be.

Talk to Mark let him know how you feel about Kyle if he is half a man he will give Kyle his blessing.

It does sound like he has feelings for you, but he cares too much about the feelings of his best friend. You are better off moving on, as it sounds like he will continue to choose his friend over you, which is what you would expect a best friend to do.

Move on & let go of both guys. Kyle is off-limits forever no matter what.

Yes I truly think he likes you. But he just doesnt want to cross that line with his friend.
