White........with lots of reds, greens , others but no whites ornaments on it.

That's a personal thing but I've always been fond of Christmas Trees with all white lights and only two different colors of decorations. My family has collected a lot of different orinimintes for our tree, so each year I pick a different color scheme. One year I did, Red and Gold and the next I did Blue and White then the next year I did Purple and Silver...Just pick colors you like and make sure they look good together.

I would get an artificial green one. Then decorate "out of the ordinary". For example, do you like animal prints? do white lights with cheetah ribbons from a craft store, and insert silk poinsettia flowers throughout the tree, simple, but looks awesome. Or the colors blues and greens look great together, blue lights on a green tree with teal colored and silver ornaments. Do what "you" like, and have fun with it!

Christmas Tree in red, green and gold
Exotic in redish, maroons and golden

For our Christmas tree we put lots of white lights on first and then we put on the multicolored strands of lights on after it.

I like white lights always.
trimmings.....
red and gold w/ with snowflakes
red and silver w/ with snowflakes
blue and silver
turquoise and pink for the diva's
It all really depends on that persons taste.

Personally, my favourite colours are (in the order from the most liked) white (some people say silver), turqouise, and blue. Try putting it on. I never get bored putting them on together year after year. It looks elegant and very very very classy..
