Dead Letter Office, I think. Though some places have posted letters for us adults to "awwww" over, so maybe I'm wrong.

They send it to a designated "SANTA" in the North Pole. That Santa makes every effort to answer all the letters.

In my area we have people from different organization that volunteer to read the letters. They then try to help the ones that are truly in need. We look for children that are really in need and try to find a way to help then.
