I don't think you can change a specific text box in Word, but you can change the page setup. Go to File, then Page Setup. You can then switch from portrait to landscape. If you have powerpoint you can do it there, then cut and paste into your word document.

You don't turn the text you change the page layout. You can do this two ways:
1. If this is the only thing you need to print -
Click on the file menu
Click on Page Setup
You will see the option to choose either Portrait or Landscape -
Choose Landscape and Click OK
2. If this is only a part of the document and you want the rest of the document to be printed in Portrait orientation this is how you want to do it.
Click at the beginning of the text that you want to be printed in Landscape (the blinking I-beam should be BEFORE the FIRST letter in your text.)
Click on the Insert Menu
Click BREAK-- Choose a CONTINUOUS BREAK-- OK
Click at the end of the text that you want to be printed in Landscape (the blinking I-beam should be AFTER the LAST letter in your text.)
Click on the Insert Menu
Click BREAK-- Choose a CONTINUOUS BREAK-- OK
Click INSIDE the block of text you want in landscape view.
Click File
Click Page Setup
ClickYou will see the option to choose either Portrait or Landscape -
Choose Landscape
You will see an option that says Apply To 'This Section' (this is what you want it to say
Click OK
You may need to add some blank lines to adjust ~~~ you know =)
Hope it helps!

don't think you can turn the block of text unless you print screen, crop everything except the text and paste the .jpg back into the document on its side. It would be easier to go to File/ Page Setup / Set orientation to landscape.

You click on the printer icon on the standard tool bar. When the save as window pops up, do that. Then the printing window will pop up. On the bar with the zoom, find the icon that will rotate right or left. Click on the one you need and make sure to save your changes. I'm sure there is an easier way but I'm not that familiar with Word so that's how I do it.

You don't tell Word to turn...you tell the printer to print it in landscape. Check out the Printer Settings when you click File > Print menu...you'll see landscape there.

Reinstall the printer. Then when you print check that it is default printer and also that it is clicked in the print dialog box before you print your docs. I have had the same kind of trouble with Lexmark. After I did this it was fine. It is a little temperamental!!
