This was years ago, so I'm not even sure if anyone will know what I'm talking about... I received it via email and it was about a guy who dreamed he was in a room that had the index drawers like the ones you find in libraries. Upon closer inspection, he sees that the subjects are directly related to him, i.e, "Girls I have liked". Other cards show the darker subjects, such as "Things I have said in anger to my brother" and "Lustful thoughts I've had". Every last card has his signature, the date, and the time of each occurance.

As his horror and shame builds at the details, he notices that he's no longer alone, and Jesus is with him. Jesus takes the card from him and signs His own name over the narrators. He tries to take the cards away from Jesus, saying that His name shouldn't be on them, but Jesus continues to sign with a red pen, in His blood.

It's really deep, and I'd love to read it again and share it with others, so if you have it, please send it to me.

Contains the story, and the 6 minute movie. Thanks Pilgrimchd for giving me the name of the author which led me to this great site!

There was an email story (a hoax) going around that added some details regarding the original story.

The original author is Joshua Harris. He wrote the incident you describe, and what he calls, "The Dream," in his first book -- "I Kissed Dating Goodbye." Joshua was probably only twenty, or so, when he wrote it -- he's only around 30-32 now!

Hope that helps...

That is an email that has been going around for ages.. it starts off as an essay that was supposedly written by a student that dies tragically and the parents empty his locker and find the essay which states everyhting that is in your question....

I have seen it in a lot of forms....

the moral of the story is that no matter what you do or how sinful you are.. jesus took on your sins long ago on the cross and you are saved from your inequioties by Gods saving grace..

Its a great email

He didn't cover your sins. If you believe and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross then your sins are taken away not covered. He was raised from the dead for you justification. Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
