He is a famous football player I have been lead by the spirit to really pray for this man how do I know if it is the spirit versus my imagination? And it may sound nutty but I really believe Jesus has revealed this man to me as my husband? How do I know it's real and not the devil or wishful thinking.

Ok.. so if Jesus called you to pray for this man...what harm is there in that?
and if Jesus has lead you to the understanding that this is to be your husband why do you now convince yourself that Jesus wont make a way for that possibility..
Patience.. if Jesus says this is your man.. he will make a way for the prophesy to come to pass.. if it doesnt then you know it was not of God.
Either way.. it is not your will

Seriously, and with no offense intended: I think that you're mentally ill, and should strongly consider seeking help.
Whatever you do, do NOT attempt to contact that "famous football player". You sound like you're close to committing a crime because of this delusion. What you need is a mental health professional.

If you are hearing a voice outside of your own, you need to test it. that is what the Bible says. the best way to test the spirit is to compare it to what the Bible says. Satan's spirits are out there, and they will lie to you, but God's spirit is there too, and he will only speak the truth. If what you're hearing is not lining up with what the Bible says, then don't listen to it, and pray that God will rid you of the demons and that he will show you HIS will.
continue praying, It is entirely biblical to pray no matter what the circumstances. I will pray for you too.

I feel the same way, Angelina Jolie will be my wife she just does'nt know it yet. but seriously, you check yourself into an institution of some sort, until your delusions clear up. I would also suggest stop watching TV. Juust think if you did'nt watch TV you would be part of a whole seperate universe.

Do you actually personally know this man? If you do not, then you cannot love him since you do not know him so how on earth can he be your husband.

IF this person is who GOD intends for you, then HE will send him,,, but for fixating on him and obsessing, not a good idea...
GOD does what HE wants according to HIS will and purpose for our individual lives...just don't go all stalker ok?
