Honestly, do you feel good and ready to take another girl out to the dance?...without trying to get back at your old girlfriend. if you can go rite ahead. but if you cant than don't make the mistake of making the other girl you take feel like she was used for revenge. just check your honest feelings first.

Sure! why not? its not like you asked for the heartbreak. HAVE fun and get your mind off of your ex. Dont make her jealous though, or want to make her jealous. That would be a wrong motive to take a girl to a dance.

I don't think that it would be wise to jump right in to actually having another girlfriend so soon. Maybe ask the potential date just to the dance and see how that goes. Then, you can take it from there.
