Here, he's trying to convince you that the earphones can be had for $4.99 and they are the same OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) that Sennheiser uses. In other words, the company that manufactures Sennheiser earphones also sells an identical version to everyone else, at $4.99 (or less) each.

This is unlikely, since Sennheiser would likely have an exclusive on their design (or else why would anyone pay 14 times as much?). The company could be brought up on all kinds of legal charges for violating patents and exclusive manufacturing agreements. Just to sell a few through eBay? No one is that dumb...

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Don't waste your $20 -- you'll never see it again and you'll still have poor earphones.

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer.
That is usually the type of thing that would be included with a new computer, not something you go buy at the store.
If you buy a name brand computer, they many times come bundles with a headset, speakers, or such thast you can't buy anywhere else.
It doesn't usually come with a box or a warranty, it is designed to be covered by the computer manufacturer.
That is why they are so cheap.
