As you know, muscle weighs more than fat, so you're doing the right thing if you want the scale to read higher... but perhaps genetically you're simply a slender person. So all you can do is become as muscled as possible, be lean and great looking, and don't worry so much what the scales say... If you can run for an hour on the treadmill, bench 150, for ten reps at a time and do squats all day long, then you've done about as much as you can do. But if you can do all of that, then you're in great shape.. Consider playing golf or tennis to get your eye / hand coordination skills perfected too. Using your body expertly in a skilled sport such as those does wonders for your self confidence.

If you want to gain weight. Drink a milkshake every night, make sure you eat after 8pm every day and skip breakfast. Drink some protein shakes. Lift weights in the morning for 20 minutes and every night for 20 minutes before you go to sleep. Be sure to take Sunday off and eat whatever your heart's desire. This will work. . . I promise. Gaining weight is easy, but losing it is very hard.

i know how you feel. i was at 102 at your age. eat all the fast food and fried foods you want. you can also have all the junk food you wish, but make sure to eat all your meals too, or you'll lose weight. working out is good, but don't over due it or you will lose weight. the best part of trying to gain is you can eat all you wish and not feel guilty.(lol) wish i could still do this now. lots of luck! :)

Some people are naturally very thin. However, if this does bother you very much, then you should see a physician then start a weight gain program through a gym (which it seems you're doing).
