I am currently suing the bank that I used to work at as a teller because the infringed on my rights. I enjoy wearing a Jar Jar Binks costume, and I wear it almost all the time. My boss said I could not wear it to work. Why doesn't he just tell me to wear a slave outfit. He has no right to control my personal life, including how I dress. Everyone has the right to be themself without being harrassed and threatened. Just because me lifestyle is unusual, does that mean that I have less rights then anyone else? I like to wear a Jar Jar costume, but what if my boss said I can't be in a homosexual or interracial relationship? Then people would defend me. Why can't people accpet me for who I am?

When your 3month old son grows up, you can fight the system together. Hang in there.....

Reading your question, I get the impression that its not so much a lifestyle as a dress code thing. In wearing a costume like that, your going against the company dress code. I'm sure you've been warned of it a few times before being fired.

Because it disrupts the work place. A boss has a right to tell his employees what to wear wither it's a uniform or whatever. If your really wearing that costume you deserve to be fired and probably committed. You must be a real embarrassment to your family.

Are you serious? I don't know any profession you would be able to wear that costume at. Maybe I am misunderstanding the question. Is "Jar Jar costume" another way of saying "shorts and a tank top?"

I don't think you will win that case. (Please don't wear the costume to the court)

People should accept you for Who you are. But when your in the business world, you have to dress How they want you to dress. Every bank has a DRESS code, and if you cant go by those guidelines, then you shouldnt have applied there.
You can wear whatever else you want when your not at work, but that bank has to present itself as a well groomed enviroment.

put it on your son and ask your boss if he can sit on your desk as an ornament. Or maybe "he" should be dressed up as a barbie, since he is gender confused...............................................
