Diet soda is just as bad for you and regular soda. The artificial sweetener in diet soda in known to make your appetite increase. Also the amount of sodium is high too, making you retain water. I still drink it though.

Soda is full of caffeine and usually loaded with sugar or in the case of diet other chemicals that are not healthy for you at all. Soda does cause weight gain as well because of it's ingredients. I stopped drinking soda about 2 months ago when I was introduced to a natural and healthy energy drink. It is the first energy drink to hit the market in the form of a powder so it allows you to mix it with the beverage of your choice (I use flavored water) no matter where you are at as it comes in ez to carry packets. I lost 10 pounds in the first two weeks after I stopped drinking soda and started drinking these. I drink 2 a day (8am & 1pm). If you would like some FREE SAMPLES of this energy drink check out my profile or the link below

Soda robs your bones of calcium among other things. It also gives you a false feeling of fullness which could delay an intake of vital nutrients (food).
Diet soda is worse because instead of injesting sugar into your body (yes, it's processed and it's bad but at least you know what it is) you are taking in chemicals that simulate the taste and don't think for a minute that those chemicals - all of 'em or any of 'em exit your body. What are they doing inside there? Tests are inconclusive.

Yes. Diet Soda is worse, although both are still bad. Many people who drink diet soda daily knows that its really bad for them and is addicting, kind of like a cigarette.

I saw a man once clean acid off his battery with a can of coca cola. So I wondered what that soda does in your stomach -- probably eat away some essentials with prolong use. Anything in moderation is okay -- its the caffeine in the soda that is addictive.

the carbonation in any soda increases lactic acid in your muscles and makes working out a million times harder
diet soda may seem ok in the short run, but it can make you sick later on down the road because of all the additives that make it "diet"

Soda is bad because between the carbonic acid and the sugar it will rot your teeth faster than crystal meth.
Diet soda isn't as bad.
Do you know how you can tell the tooth brush was invented in Arkansas?
If it were invented any where else they would have called it a teeth brush. lol.

Soda is considered bad for you due to it's high sugar content, and lack of nutrients. You will often hear the term "empty calories" when nutrionists refer to sodas.
Each soda has about 110 calories or so, which makes it easy to gain excess weight by drinking too many of them.

Soda isn't bad unless you overdrink it. I heard diet soda is worse than regular soda, disregarding taste.
