the strict ruling bout liquids are driving me crazy. Is it ok if i put all my toiletries in the suitcase that i'm checking in? The rule is only applicaple to the liquids in the hand luggage only right?

You can pack your liquids in your checked luggage, you are also allowed to bring some liquids on the aircraft with you. Try going to http://www.tsa.gov/ this is the the TSA website and they have the complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you in your checked luggage as well as in your carry on luggage.

yes you are right, you can bring all your toiletries in the suitcase that you will be checking in. You hand luggage has to be minimal. check the website under airport security. Enjoy your trip
