There will be a small amount of ink running from it when it gets wet and your skin may also peel and scab. Don't worry, this is normal. Don't pick at it, just gently rub some antibacterial cream onto it and try to keep it covered. I recommend using a clean Chux as a bandage, because they are quite porous and let some air get in, while largely protecting the area.
They don't take long to heal. Depending on the size, I would keep an eye on it for around a week and after that, it should be fine.

Hi Yellow, This nothing to worry about. I have 4 tat's and they all will shed until it heals. What sure you always get your tat clean, and put lotion on it twice a day. If your tat is going to be expose to the sun, always put sun block on it. They will always look new and last for 30 years. I artist that does my tats' told me this. I think it is pretty cool. One thing i would like to tell you. Once you get your first tattoo you will want to get more, besides the pain you go threw. That's why i have 4 tats', and plan on 2 more, before i quit. ONE thing my tats' tell a story about me. I just love tattoos'. I am a girl to boot.

you shed for awhile after you get a tattoo, because you basically have a scar on your back.
If you took care of it inititally, then it'll fade just a bit, and heal up.

yes mind did to ,but now its OK.but just to make sure go and see were you had your tattoo done just to reassure you.and if you don't trust what he say,well go to another tattoo shop or go see your Doctor.

Yeah, that's normal. It will fade just a little bit.

most likey its just the remaining ink or scabbing.. it should be fine.. after it heals you.ll be able to tell more.

hell no that aint normal...the ink shouldnt be comin off!!! if i wus u would get that checked out and get my damn money back from the people who did it!!!!!!

the color will come off for awhile and it is normal

it is normal..but dont peel it off, it will make the color less striking
