How do you think they match up? I know Vera outwieghs him by at least 15 lbs and frequently embarrases much bigger heavyweights, how does this fight play out to you? Do you think the Iceman could do what Vera did to Mir and some of the other heavies that he destroyed?

if this fight happens it would be good
not sure on brandons chin b/c he hasn't gotten hit
his ground game is damn good, trains with loyd irvin and dean lister so his BJJ is top of the line
His greco wrestling is good aswell, not good enough to get chuck down though
i think his hands are way better then chucks, his tech is clean and is thai boxing is brutal
yes i think chuck could easily go to heavy weight and fight even with those guys, he already beat monson who is a bad ***, he could KO silvia or arlovski and vice versa
i think vera, jackson, silva, arona, Rua all could take chuck in the cage or ring
chuck= 1 shot and your done
not a clean fighter as far as tech but thats part of his wierd game and he wins doing it, wrestling is sick, i think chuck relies to much on his not so good hands, he has trouble with defending leg kicks and hardly kicks himself, Brandon would leg kick the **** out of him also
I personally am a long time supporter of brandon back when he just grappled at naga and GQ so i think he would knock chuck out with knees or cripple him with leg kicks and GNP
i think to beat chuck you have to take his legs away which will hurt his sprawl, doing so is a diffrent story cause the counter to the leg kick is the big right and chuck would be able to read a leg kick game after the first few

I hope Vera knocks out Sylvia and then drops a weight class to try and hold two belts at once. The heavyweights that Vera has beaten in the UFC are very different fighters than Chuck. Chuck has speed and agility, much more than a middle of the ladder heavyweight. Once Vera finally beats a top flight heavyweight, you can make a reasonable comparison to Chuck. But the champ is the superior fighter, with wins over better opponents and in championship venues.

Chuck Liddell would knock Vera out, he would not murder him but he will knock him out. If Vera was to go down in weight to fight Chuck he would give Chuck a fight but he will gas out. Vera never fought a 5 rounder so cardio will be a major factor in this fight.

Liddell would win. You shouldn't compare Mir to Liddell. At one time, Mir was great, but since he returned from his accident, he is lacking something (besides self esteem). He isn't what he used to be.

nicely now that fights between UFC and pride are going to ensue, possibly we receives to be sure who may win. besides the very shown truth that i imagine they're going to pair him up with Shogun depending off what Dana White reported in the course of the click convention.
