I am looking for a consolidation loan. Ever since my husband left I have been having trouble with the bills. Not that I don't have enough money to pay them but there are so many sometimes I forget. I just think it would be easier to have be able to narrow it down some. Instead of paying 20 different bills a month I could pay 10 that would make my life so much easier.

first you can check with your financial institute to see what kind of bill consolidation loans they offer and the current rates. do not go to one of those title max places, check cashing, or worst the Pioneer Loans. they have the worst interest rates ever and are illegal to use in some states. if you are having trouble with your finances, they offer some great budgeting classes through ACS (army community services) and they can help you with your bills. aside from that, the army doesn't offer loans to anyone. they do have the Army Emergency Relief, but they only offer money for certain cases and you have to pay that back. You can also look for debt consolidation places, but i would go through the better business bureau to see if they are legit and not a ripoff. try making a chart for the fridge or on a spreadsheet on the computer that you can list all your bills, the amounts and due dates. you can schedule reminders thru your email to let you know when a bill is due or even with your bank set up an automatic bill payer so you will never forget the bills.
