im in high school and i know i cant make someone like me but i was wondering what should i talk to her about, and it seems she gets interested in me but then she doesnt

From my opinion, observe her closely. Find her usual hauntings locations.. Then, pop up one day at her location and start the conversation " aren't you the girl from ....?" Then carry on from there bro..

Try to find something she is interested in. Talk plainly to her. Just be yourself. If she has interest she will let you know. If she doesn't, find someone else. It really is that simple.

Don't ever try to plan and scheme things, especially what you're going to say, or "lines" to use. That will put you on the fast track to nowhere. Just be sponteneous and be yourself.

ask her what tv shows she likes, what music she listens to, what she wants to do when she gets out of school, assuming you are high schoolers.
