I did not color my hair. Also the relaxer was not burning, but I do have some ugly burns around my hairline. It is really dry and stuck to my scalp and my hair in the back is still wet. But she did pull my hair back into a ponytail, then wrapped this white towel like thing on my head and then a satin scarf

these are scalp burns. this is one of the major dangers of getting a relaxer. i would try some neosporin on the areas. and don't pick at them or comb them. if there ever comes a day you stop relaxing, your scalp there may still be damaged in those areas. causing dryness, desensitization, or trouble growing hair. you should talk to your stylist about protecting your scalp by putting a base on it. and not letting the chemical get on your scalp. but like i said before, this is a major danger of relaxers.

Whoa......call the salon a.s.a.p. That should not be happening. I can't think of anything else you should do. When you call them, find out what brand they used on your hair first, before telling them what happened, because you need to get as much info as possible. Go to them and have them fix it. But don't let the person who did it touch it again. Don't mess with it until then, and perferably take someone with you to help you. And ask for a full refund. If you don't want them to fix it, find someone else, call them and if they sound helpful, go see them asap.

Also, do some research on the brand they used and figure out what else they might have used. Find out if it's lye, no-lye, etc. Did you also get your hair colored? The only time I've heard of a case like this is when someone permenately colored their hair (instead of temporary color) black about a week after relaxing it. Her hair was really hard when she got in the shower and continued to be like that for months, but eventually it got better. I'm sure that whatever the case is with yours, it'll get better too. But stay away from that salon.

Wash it and use a very good conditioner, maybe even a cholesterol. The stuff that's making your hair hard is gel or holding spray, especially if you've got short hair. It's always better to style your hair yourself; just let your salonist do the relaxer and the cutting-- you know what you like best.

Something went wrong. That is never suppose to happen. Go to the salon and have them correct the problem. I never heard of that ever happening to anyone.

Call your beautician on that one.
