I live in CA. I do find in petstores but they are so expensive. They cost between$ 300.00 -700.00 , I either like colorful or green parrot. I like hearing them talking. Also, I find in newspaper mostly they are cockatoos, love birds, little parrots . I am looking big and tame birds. I am afraid to order from their online. Any suggestion??

They are a parrot rescue and they can teach you everything you need to know about parrots. You could even foster parrots while you're deciding what kind you might like to have.

I hope you are doing your research about owning a "parrot." I am guessing you want a Macaw. I will give you some information to think about. If you have time to take care of a 2 year old human baby, then maybe you will have the time to take care of the bird you are looking to buy. Macaws need lots of attention, otherwise they will act out negatively and it is hard to break those habits. They need fresh fruit and veggies every day. They need fresh water 2 times a day. If you get bit by one, it will send you to the hospital for stitches or a sprained/broken finger. These birds can live up to 15 years. If you are willing to be a LIFELONG owner of this beautiful and faboulous bird, make sure your research before making the purchase.
