Unfortunately the media is flooded with bad language and kids just pick up on it. Christians aren't the only ones to use that language, but true, Christians should be more careful about what they say if they really believe in Christ's teachings.

Just remember, that just because a person says that they are a Christian, does not make them truly a Christian. A person is only a Christian, when they have truly accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. And when they have truly done this, they will no longer have a desire to go around cussing. God's Word tells us in 2 Cor. 5:17, that if a man is in Christ, or is a Christian, they will be a new creature; old things will be passed away, and all things will become new. In other words, when a person truly becomes a Christian, they will have new desires. They will no longer have a desire to go around cussing; but will have the desire to speak respectfully, and in a way which glorifies God. They will have a desire to live their life in a way which is pleasing to God. If they do not have such desires, then they most likely have never truly been born again, or became Christians. A person's lifestyle tells you much more than what they speak out of their mouth. It sounds to me as though they need to truly get their hearts right with God. When they do so, then they will not have the desire for cussing any longer.

They are not typical christians, and they don't seem to act like christians very much. Sorry you have to observe that. What you should know though, is that of all the christians I know, just about maybe 1% ever curse. So, yes, some curse, but I think you seem to be around a high number. Remember too, that christians are NOT perfect, even thought they should act better than you are seeing.

I make it a practice not to curse-perhaps you could tell your Christian classmates about Ephesians 4:29:"Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
But maybe your classmates aren't really Christians at all,but have just been raised in a Christian home. There is a difference.

ahhh but do you know for 100% fact that they are actually Christians. Only God can truly tell what lies in man's heart. Christians should shine in the Light of Christ. That is how we identify true Christians. But you know everyone acts up from time to time also. So the moral to the story is "before examining the speck in your neighbors eye remove the plank from your own eye."

Christians are human too. some might replace into provoked into conversing vulgarly. they do no longer advise to and for myself, each and each time I talk something foul, I in the present day ask forgiveness. understanding I stated something that God does not like, supplies me a huge experience of guilt. i assume it relatively is the version in a Christian and a non-Christian. We do have a ethical experience and attempt to stay in accordance to the way God might decide for us to do. all of us sins and a few extra effective than others, yet with the help of being a Christian, we've a forgiving God. Oh, and confident, some Christians have from habit previously starting to be a Christian cursed enormous time. it relatively is tricky for them to break the habit over-night. all of us might desire to choose for capability to triumph over the techniques of sin.

*ouch* this question hurt. I am a christian and I have a problem with cursing but my husband makes me pay a fine with money every time I do and I give the fine money to my church, when I get frustrated and upset I sound off with my mouth, but the Holy Spirit lives inside of me and as you get furtherr in your walk with the Lord the "playpen" gets smaller and you are called to holiness. I recently repented of my cursing to the Lord and fully gave it over to Him, I sometimes slip and sin but not nearly as bad as I used to be.
As a kid and a youth one does not always have the spiritual maturity of self control of the tongue and they want to fit in with their peers. I have not always acted like a christian but God is still working in me, pray for the kids that curse.
Ephesians 4:29 Let no evil come out of thy mouth this is a verse I have pasted on my small Bible I keep at my desk.
I am very proud of you for posting this question and thank you and God bless you.

Nobody is perfect. I consider myself a Christian, but we are only human. I say the occasional dirty word when I get mad. Of course a lot of kids talk this way. Maybe they will grow out of it, or if you are a Christian, maybe you can tell them how bad it sounds. I'm sure God doesn't approve of this, but just pray for them and maybe He will covict them and make them realize how they sound. Just because you are a Christian, doesn't make you sinless. There was only one perfect man on this earth!

Going to a church, or saying you are a Christian doesn't make you a Christian, on the other hand you have carnal Christians also.
