I lost my voice, and am trying to get it back by tomorrow, but this tea, with honey in it, is totally gross. Is there any way to make it better?!

LOL...First of all if you think that tea is going to give you your voice back by tomorrow you are sadly mistaken...sorry to have to tell you that...but to answer your question...what kind of tea are you using? Herbal teas are best with honey...chamomile is my favorite when I'm feeling under the weather. The Honey acts as a soothing agent for your throat while the tea, made up of water hydrates....so if you really hate the tea, heat up some water and add honey...ewe but the same effect will be obtained.

Not all teas have healing properties. For a diversion, you may consider buying Chai Tea and adding hot soy milk (vanilla) favoritge atg Starbucks. Remember Green Tea is also good and white tea because of the antioxidants that cleanse your body out.immunizing you from the flu as well. Drink Tea and the next time you will not lose your voice.

Tea Brewing

Simplified brewing:

Tea Ware: Mini tea set

Tea leaves can be steeped in the inner jar. Release the inner jar valve to drain liquor into the large jar. Pour liquor to teacups or use the jar as your teacup.

Water: 100ºC boiling water

Brewing:

1. Put reasonable amount of tea leaves to the inner jar

2. Rinse tea leaves with boiled water, release valve to drain

3. Use 1st lot liquor to wash and warm tea cups, or dispose the liquor

4. Enjoy your tea from the next and subsequent brew. Do not steep tea leaves for over 15 seconds in the 1st brew. Additional 5 to 10 seconds is required for each subsequent brew.

Warning: Do not have tea leaves steeped for too long. Overbrew tea has bitterness.

if you want to back your voice by tomorrow try to drink ginger juice.. try it not to hot but not to cool. avoid sugar or sweet foods also too hot and too cool foods because it may worsen your situation, and don't push your self to hard. try not to talk until 2Morrow... sounds weird but it may help... forget about tea... ginger juice has a very good effect....

Have you tried lemon juice? That is good for sore throat.

Have you tried other types of sweeteners? I wouldn't recommend white sugar.

There are other flavors. Just look around.

If you are not opposed to alcohol - try adding some brandy or rum - they are also good for a sore throat.
