Vomiting can be cause by adverse reactions to medications like aspirin and antibiotics, or due to overdoses of medication. Excess alcohol intake is notorious for causing vomiting.

The stomach flu is very contagious especially when you have a fever.
But I would not recommend to stay around to see if they have fever or not.
They are still highly contagious.
Stay away and stay healthy
