We used to raise Dalmations.... My mom and dad love them to death, our male Duke was the best dog we've ever had. Our neighbor posioned him (about 10 years ago, maybe less) and he died within a couple of days. My question is, does anyone know of any reputable breeders? I would love to get them a Dalmation, not neccessarily for Christmas, but just because. They've wanted one for so long now, and I've done quite a bit of searching with hardly any results. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

NO PETFINDER!!! I have looked at every place like that. Not to mention I searched there when I bought my Yorkies... I ran into tons of scams, although there may be some reputable breeders, I don't trust the site. Period. PUPPYFIND, and all those other sites are the same way!

Glad to see other Dalmatian lovers!
A GREAT site to find some good breeders is the Dalmatian Club of America. (www.thedca.org/) They actually have a breeder referral section, and you can also check out some local Dal clubs by state. In the State Club section the breeders will have sites you can check out and see their dogs and litters they have planned. All of the breeders I have seen on there have quality show dogs.

I would contact the American Kennel Club since they usually have resources on their website of licensed and reputable breeders that raise and breed purebred dogs and see if there's one who breeds Dalmations.

go to petfinder.com.....this is a site for rescue groups.....just enter your Zip code, and enter breed wanted, and be AMAZED at how many great choices you have !!.....i recently adopted a Great Pyrenees mix from them, and my dog Sylvester is awesome !!.....check it out.....try it.....do a good deed.....adopt a Dalmation today !!!.....good luck to you, in your search for a Dalmation as a new pet !!!!.....most adoptions run between $ 50 to $ 200 maximum, for a wonderfull dog, who will be very happy to be your new pet !!!
