There are basically two views. One says that we are a sovereign country and need to only allow in those people who meet our requirements, and to make sure that happens we have laws that need to be enforced. The other is advocated by the employers, like Tyson Foods, who illegally hire foreign nationals at very low wages, so that they may make even higher profits. It is this second group who spends the most money on the politicians who control our policy. And then there is the secret view held by our President, who wants open borders with Canada and Mexico for the North American Union, an agreement he has already signed with both the Canadian and Mexican Presidents. This, of course eliminates the voice of the first group I mentioned, rendering their views irrelevant. It would have been at least considerate of our President to ask us before he decided to do that

My opinion only is that they first need to put up the fence and get enough people to see that this illegal push into the US is stopped. Next, they need to round up the illegals who are criminals and send that back to where they came from.
The illegals who are here and working and being good citizens, fine them a nice fee for breaking the law. They could work it out by helping fix our infrastructure. God knows that's needed. The bridges need painting badley. The roads are a mess. Government buildings and churches need repairs. Lots and lots of things could be done to work in lieu of paying out the fee.
This would save some of the tax payers money.
I know there are some people who won't do the jobs they used to do because they got on welfare. Let's face it, people won't pick strawberries and beans anymore. I used to when I was young. I'm a lot older than some of you, but it made me work harder and have more pride and the drive to move ahead with a better job.
I don't think the Democrates want to do much of anything really. It is hard to tell really. to know.

Republicans caused the problem when their rich friends wanted near-slaves, and then tried to grant amnesty. People who live along the border didn't like that idea so the Republicans want Democrats to take the blame for the amnesty idea but Democrats don't know what they're talking about...
