...people before Islam and Christianity were founded...?

Did they all burn in hell, or did they worship someone else and go to a separate heaven?

So let me get this straight, for millions of years God let people suffer in Hades, then when he decided, he let his earth form (Jesus) die on a cross and make his way to hades, where these billions of people had been suffering for millions of years, and offered them a nice place called heaven so they didnt have to suffer - and let me get this straight - some of them said "no"....

Ok thanks for the lesson.

#1 this is a very touchy and hard subject to explain, its better understood if one seeks the advice of a scholar on this subject
#2 islam and christianity have nothing to do with it. islam and christianity do not get you to heaven. faith and faith alone in God goes.
#3 prior to the cross and Jesus sacrificing himself, people got to "paradise" by atoning for their sins and a system of offerings. those who had the right viewpoint of the Messiah were good candidates for Heaven. those who didnt, good candidates for Hell.
#4 The Old Testament Hell essentially had two parts; the bad - the grave, and the good- paradise. After Jesus' self sacrifice those in paradise were ushered into Heaven.
#5 like I said, very hard to explain and or understand.

There is a place in Revelation 1:18-19. Jesus went to Hades (He has the keys) to free all the good people (patriarchs and righteous)

I'm impressed with your answer to jesus man. In the old testament a person would sacrifice a lamb(perfect or the best you had) to atone for their sins. It was a Jewish ceremony I'm not educated on. That's why Jesus is called the Lamb of God. Please let me apologias for the rude answers you have received.

I see what you mean. all but Jennie and Tom had answers not worth reading.
The Christian Bible does not say where the pre Israelites/Christians and Islams went to after they died . but theology would say that they went to their own religions idea of a heaven.
Even genesis does not mention who made the souls of people anymore outright before the Creation of the physical world nor is there any mention of the war in heaven.
The CREATOR of ALL THINGS(the SELF-Made One) made the souls of ALL THAT WAS AND WILL BE from sparks that if threw off of ITS OWN BODY.

Actually before Christ was born people laid in their graves. the dead are consious of nothing at all. After Christ was put on the Cross and died for our sins He went to Hades, or Hell for our sins so we did not have to. Jesus then preceeded to tell the people in hades of the good news for salvation. Those who had faith and listened are ok. Those who denied, well......

The people who sacrificed the lambs and doves were covered until Jesus' death by the blood of their sacrifices. They when to a place called Paradise, and when Jesus died he went to paradise nd brought them into Heaven.

God Bless

before religion, your Spirit/Soul use to go the same place, the same way it does now. You go to the light and are judged for your goods and bads while you wait for your next assignment.

I think they waited in a place somewhere that wasn't heaven or Hell, it was called Paradise, I think.

Nothing has happened to them, they are our spiritual guides, angels, and living spirits. A part of history, a part of human evolution.
