I don't understand how any Christian can say "no, absolutely not" to this question. If the human race started out with two people (Adam and Eve) how else could the species survive?

No. There is no place in the Bible in which incest is encouraged. The Bible portrays incest in a very negative light. One example of this is shortly after Lot and his daughters escaped Sodom and Gomorrah and were forced to live in a cave. Because they realized that, eventually, their line would soon reach an end, the daughters of Lot intoxicated him and had sex with him and bore children.
First of all, they got him drunk, and intoxication is frowned upon in the Bible. Second of all, the births led to the rise of two people who grieved God: the Moabites and the Ammonites. If God were to allow such an unholy act, then wouldn't the offspring have been better? Aside from that, back then, it was a cultural custom not to have sex with your relatives. To do so seemed very unnatural. So, no. It doesn't allow incest.

What we now call incest was allowed in the earliest years of mankind upon the earth. But at that time, there were no laws prohibiting such relationships. Those laws came into being with the Jewish Levitical Law.

Relationship between family members is the only way for the human race to have flourished from the beginning. Many ask, Where did Cain get his wife?"

To answer your question, the answer is no. However, it the Talmud a supplement to the Torah ("Old Testament") there is passages in there were it is indeed acceptable to rape a child under the age of 3, the reason why that is acceptable is because the Talmud states that the girl's hymen will be healed in time of marriageable age and therefore still be considered a virgin.

There are instances in the Bible which make it questionable as to what exactly is going on. For example; Noah. And Ham 'seeing Noah's nakedness' and then Noah "knowing" what has happened. And then! Noah cursing Ham's son for Ham's sin??? Something fishy going on there, and it is highly probable that Ham wasn't just oggling ol' dad.

This is a question of evolution actually, Adam and Eve where much closer to God in pure body form, this is shown by the fact they lived or Adam lived 900+ years, so in them days yes a brother could marry a sister. But as man has evolved downward today this is not true and brothers and sister may have mentally retarded children. Abraham married his sister, but she was a different mother, and the same father. There are other cases of this with Lot sleeping with his daughters but not married and had children. But even in that day this was wrong. It is wrong for a father to sleep with daughter and mother with son, but there are cases of both in the Bible. In the days of David; his children had sex, and it says they were allowed to be married but a son hated the girl after wards and the girls natural brother ended up killing him, David had 700 wives and who knows how many children. So to answer you, the Bible does not encourage it but people still did it.

The bible is a work of fiction, part of the middle eastern tales and legend. It does not "encourage or allow" anything.
Pretending that the stories are real or/and that they allow or forbid things are symptoms of mental disorder.
Many people use the bible or religions as excuses for their anti social behaviour. Bishops that protect and refuse to report pedophile priests are one example. Some serial killers say that they were obeying god, terrorist also often use the same excuse etc...

It has touched on the subject, usually not in a great way.

We have to consider that a certain amount of incest might have been required to get the human race going.

The old testament does (they were ALL having sex with their daughters), but the new testament would call it adultery because it is not within the confines of marriage.
